What a great village Elmswell is with reasonable amenities( we could always do with more), great communication links by road and rail. The village is growing …….but how big will it grow and how soon is this going to happen?
If you are a new business starting up in the village you can post you details here. They will stay on for a while and then be deleted. If you want to advertise on the site with a link to your own website please contact us via email ian@elmswellinfo .co.uk
As Elmswell grows is there enough for our kids to do, is the Blackbourne used to its full potential?
If you have memories of Elmswell that you wish to share with others please let us know. many people have visited the site from all parts of the world since it was launched. Feel free to post your views and memories on this site.
As we remember our comrades friends and family that fell in the many conflicts pass and present during Rememberance Sunday and the weeks leading up to the 11th Day of The 11th month, shouldn’t our village have a proper monument to those brave villagers that fought so hard to ensure we enjoy the standards of living that we do today.
We no longer have the village hall that was originally built by villagers in honour of their friends and family? Perhaps we should have a visible monument listing the names from our village that fell in battle.
David Overman from Elmswell is running in the London marathon on Sunday 22nd of April
David ’s son Alec has been suffering from Eczema and Asthma for most of his life and without the help and support of the National Eczema Society his life would have been far harder.

The A14 is busier and noisier…… it’s only going to get worse. Should we team up with our mates across the road in Woolpit and demand that the A14 should be re-surfaced?
